A healthcare facility in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a contracted position specializing in General Ultrasound imaging. This role involves working night shifts on a 4x10 schedule with hours from 7:30 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Thursday. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced sonographers and first-time travelers aiming to expand their clinical expertise in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include performing ultrasound exams on adult and pediatric patients across emergency, ICU, nursing, and outpatient settings. The technologist will utilize advanced equipment, including Siemens Sequoia systems, and document findings using EPIC EMR software. Collaboration with a diverse team comprising lead techs, modality supervisors, and managers is essential to deliver exceptional patient care within this Level I Trauma and teaching hospital environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience; first-time travelers considered
  • Valid BLS certification and modality-specific credentials (e.g., ARDMS - abdominal, OB, or breast)
  • Proficiency with ultrasound imaging technology and ability to thrive under high patient acuity
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude
  • Familiarity with EPIC charting is preferred
