Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in perinatal ultrasound. This travel opportunity is based in High Point, NC, offering a schedule of four 9-hour days (36 hours per week) with variable shifts within a Monday to Friday framework. The role focuses on providing high-quality imaging services for high-risk obstetrics using advanced ultrasound technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed perinatal ultrasounds, including anatomy scans, Dopplers, transvaginal exams, and AIUM-accredited procedures.
  • Utilize Samsung Hera W10 and Samsung RS85 Prestige ultrasound equipment effectively.
  • Conduct outpatient imaging services in a teaching hospital environment with a focus on OB/GYN and high-risk obstetrics.
  • Manage procedures such as amniocentesis, chronic villus sampling, and PACS.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to support maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) patients.
  • Float occasionally to related units as needed, including Mondays and Wednesdays or rare weekend shifts.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including EPIC software proficiency and adherence to scheduling and attendance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience, preferably in outpatient or teaching hospital settings.
  • RDMS-OB certification with MFM experience required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Proficient in EPIC and AS OB Reporting systems.
  • Strong knowledge of OB/GYN, high-risk obstetrics, and perinatal imaging techniques.
