Ultrasound Tech | Jamaica, New York

Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with a focus on General Ultrasound and Mammography to support a healthcare facility in Jamaica, NY. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, offering a structured 5-day workweek with 8-hour day shifts. Specific days and times will be arranged during the interview process to accommodate both candidate and facility needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound and mammography imaging procedures following established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide accurate and timely imaging results.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Ensure quality control and proper operation of imaging equipment.
• Prepare and document patient information according to facility standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid NY state license.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT(M) certification required.
• Experience in general ultrasound imaging and mammography.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to participate in an in-person scan interview lasting 3-4 hours as part of the selection process.
