Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with a focus on General Ultrasound and Mammography to support a healthcare facility in Jamaica, NY. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, offering a structured 5-day workweek with 8-hour day shifts. Specific days and times will be arranged during the interview process to accommodate both candidate and facility needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound and mammography imaging procedures following established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide accurate and timely imaging results.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during examinations.
- Ensure quality control and proper operation of imaging equipment.
- Prepare and document patient information according to facility standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid NY state license.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT(M) certification required.
- Experience in general ultrasound imaging and mammography.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to participate in an in-person scan interview lasting 3-4 hours as part of the selection process.
