An opportunity is available for an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in general ultrasound imaging, with a 13-week travel assignment in Monroe, LA. This role involves performing diagnostic sonographic examinations that utilize ultrasonic equipment to identify, evaluate, and record crucial physiological, pathological, and anatomical data. The images produced assist healthcare providers in diagnosing medical conditions accurately.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting diagnostic ultrasound examinations following established protocols.
  • Monitoring the safety of patients and staff throughout procedures.
  • Screening patients before exams to ensure appropriate imaging.
  • Operating ultrasound equipment safely and effectively per departmental policies.
  • Providing education to patients and their families pre- and post-examination.
  • Assessing the competency of colleagues when serving as a preceptor.
  • Reporting directly to the Supervisor or Manager.

Desired qualifications and experience:
