This opportunity is for an experienced Ultrasound Technician specializing in general ultrasound imaging and sonography. The position involves working across two prominent healthcare settings in Quincy, MA, providing diverse experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
Responsibilities include performing detailed head and neck ultrasound exams following specific protocols, with potential involvement in ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies and operating room guidance. Additionally, the role covers routine general ultrasound exams, including specialized imaging of transplanted organs and deep vein thrombosis assessments. Close collaboration with radiologists is essential. Familiarity with Philips Epiq Elite and GE Logiq 10s equipment will be valuable.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven skills in general ultrasound imaging and sonography techniques
- Experience with head and neck ultrasound protocols
- Knowledge of ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures is a plus
- Ability to conduct exams for transplanted liver and kidney, as well as DVT studies
- Pediatric ultrasound experience is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for working effectively with radiologists and clinical teams
