This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with expertise in vascular imaging to provide high-quality care across a diverse patient population. Located in Montgomery, AL, this role involves working in a large healthcare facility with 495 beds, catering to inpatient, trauma, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. If you have one year of experience, you are eligible to apply, and first-time travelers may be considered depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general, obstetric, and vascular ultrasound examinations with precision and care.
  • Utilize charting systems such as Cerner and Philips Intellispace PACS for accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with patient care standards.
  • Participate in orientation and initial shifts alongside experienced technologists to ensure smooth integration.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification required.
  • BLS certification mandatory; RVT preferred.
  • Proficient in general, OB, and vascular ultrasound techniques.
  • Comfortable working a 1:1 patient ratio in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a weekend rotation and holiday shifts as scheduled.
  • No on-call responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to wear any scrub color; free parking provided.

Schedule and Orientation:

  • Day shift, including 1 eight-hour hospital orientation and 2-3 unit-specific shifts with another technologist.
  • Weekend rotation schedule with management-approved time off.
