Travel X-Ray Tech - Milford, IA

A healthcare facility in Milford, IA is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to cover evening shifts on a contract basis. This role provides critical imaging services during the 2pm-10pm shift, Monday through Friday, primarily supporting emergency room and inpatient needs. As the sole X-ray technologist on site during these hours, you will play a vital role within a close-knit Diagnostic Imaging team that values collaboration and quality patient care. A CT technologist is also staffed in the evenings to support the department.

Qualified candidates should have at least one year of experience as an X-ray Tech or Radiologic Technologist with solid proficiency in imaging techniques and safety protocols. This opportunity is ideal for those seeking a consistent weekday evening schedule in a smaller community hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray imaging exams for emergency and inpatient patients accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with the CT technologist and broader imaging team to ensure smooth diagnostic workflows
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to radiation safety guidelines
• Document procedures and maintain imaging equipment
• Provide patient education as needed

Qualifications:
