X-Ray Technologist in Woonsocket, RI

A skilled Radiologic Technologist with expertise in X-ray imaging is needed for a full-time, 13-week contract assignment based in Providence, Rhode Island. This night-shift role offers a consistent weekend schedule, providing focused work and valuable experience without on-call obligations.

Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule:

• Night shift
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• 12-hour shifts, 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
  Call: No call required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures using Philips, Carestream, and GE equipment, including portable units and C-Arms
• Ensure high-quality images for accurate diagnosis while maintaining patient safety and comfort
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely imaging services

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an X-ray Technologist
• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Rhode Island State Radiologic Technologist License or pending license accepted
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required; first-time travelers are welcome
