Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)| Santa Clarita, CA (Full-time, Elementary Case Load)

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA. As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in supporting elementary-aged students in their communication development journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans designed to address students' speech and language needs.
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students who may require speech and language support.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and other learning environments.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
