Inpatient Pharmacist Day Shift Corpus Christi, TX

Soliant is partnered with a trusted client in the Corpus Christi, TX area and we are in search of a full-time inpatient pharmacist. This position is a 13-week contract but could convert to a contract-to-hire position if the fit was right. The schedule we are looking to fill is a 4-day 10-hour shift schedule. Work Hours: 8:00 am-7:00 pm, 4 by 10 schedule
Duration: 13-week contract, could be contract-to-hire if the right fight

Qualifications:

• Inpatient pharmacist experience
• Meditech and Pyxis experience
• TX license

Responsibilities:

• Serves patients by preparing medications, giving pharmacological information to the multidisciplinary health care team, and monitoring patient drug therapies.
• Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
• Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
• Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
