Inpatient Pharmacist (Traveler)- Breckenridge, TX

Soliant Health, a leader in healthcare staffing, is currently looking for an exceptional pharmacist to join our team for a 13-week engagement, starting in late July or early August. This position offers a chance to work with cutting-edge IT systems like EPIC and Pyxis, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care. Schedule is 8 on 6 off day shift.

Requirements:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license.
• Previous experience working with EPIC.
• Strong inpatient experience in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience with Pyxis.
• Exceptional pharmacy skills with a focus on providing top-notch patient care.
• Proficiency in managing pediatric patients and catering to their unique healthcare needs.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing medication orders and ensuring their accuracy.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop optimal medication therapy plans.
• Providing drug information and counseling to patients and their families.
• Monitoring patient responses to medications and making appropriate interventions when needed.
• Participating in medication reconciliation and medication management processes.
