We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychologist to join our team near Shelby, Ohio. As a Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic support to individuals of all ages, helping them understand and address their mental health concerns. Job Details:
- Full - Time (37.5 hours/week)
- Caseload: PreK - 12th grade
- 23 - 24 SY
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning of clients.
- Administer and interpret standardized tests and assessments to gather relevant information for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to develop personalized treatment plans and interventions.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to clients' specific needs.
- Address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and behavioral disorders.
- Implement psychoeducational programs to enhance clients' coping skills, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, regularly evaluating treatment effectiveness.
- Offer guidance and support to clients' families, providing education on mental health topics and strategies for support at home.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid and active license to practice as a Psychologist in the state of Ohio.
- Previous experience as a Psychologist, preferably in a clinical or counseling setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological tests and assessments.
