Are you a dynamic and experienced pharmacy professional seeking a Director of Pharmacy interim position? A reputable 200-bed community hospital  is currently seeking an Interim Director of Pharmacy (DOP) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy department. This is a vital role within our client's organization, responsible for ensuring the pharmacy operates efficiently and effectively to provide optimal patient care.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department.
  • Provide oversight of the pharmacy budget and ensure compliance with financial goals.
  • Attend meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote effective medication management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of safety and quality improvement within the pharmacy department.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and ensure patient safety.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to pharmacy staff.


  • Current Ohio pharmacy license.
  • Previous experience in hospital management or leadership roles within a healthcare setting.
  • Full-time availability and commitment to a 13-week+ assignment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in pharmacy operations and technology.
