We are seeking an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy to lead the pharmacy operations at a smaller, community-focused hospital in St. Ignace, MI. This is a 13-week assignment with the potential for extension. The position offers the opportunity to manage a pharmacy department in a close-knit, supportive environment while making a meaningful impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage pharmacy operations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and industry best practices.
• Manage budgets to optimize the use of pharmacy resources while controlling costs.
• Supervise and lead pharmacy staff, including staffing, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain high standards of patient care.

Ideal Candidate:

• Michigan Pharmacist License required
• At least 2 years of management experience in a pharmacy setting
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience managing budgets and ensuring compliance with regulations
