Job Posting: Remote School-Based Occupational Therapist

Our school district is seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide remote therapy services for the upcoming school year. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and make a positive impact in their lives from the comfort of your own home.

Position: Remote School-Based Occupational Therapist
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time

- Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Providing virtual occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that occupational therapy goals are integrated into the students’ overall educational plans
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of student progress and communicating this information to parents and other stakeholders
- Participating in virtual IEP meetings and other virtual team meetings as needed
- Staying up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field through professional development activities

- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state license (New Mexico) in Occupational Therapy or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of needs and diagnoses
- Experience providing virtual occupational therapy services preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
