Job Description:

As a Travel IR Tech with Soliant Health, you will play a pivotal role in performing various interventional radiology procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. Your expertise in operating specialized imaging equipment and your dedication to providing exceptional healthcare services will be highly valued during your contract assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement.
• Assist with patient preparation and monitoring during procedures.
• Maintain the sterility and safety of the interventional radiology environment.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to deliver accurate and timely results.
• Keep detailed patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Requirements:

• Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
• ARRT certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) is preferred.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Kentucky.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Prior experience as an IR Tech is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
