Position Summary:

As an IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for compounding and preparing sterile intravenous medications to ensure the highest level of patient care. The ideal candidate will hold a valid North Carolina pharmacy technician license, have prior inpatient IV compounding experience, and be available to work full-time. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and safely compound sterile intravenous medications.
  • Adhere to all compounding and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized compounding area.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Inpatient IV compounding experience is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work full-time and start immediately.
