Position Summary:
As an IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for compounding and preparing sterile intravenous medications to ensure the highest level of patient care. The ideal candidate will hold a valid North Carolina pharmacy technician license, have prior inpatient IV compounding experience, and be available to work full-time. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and safely compound sterile intravenous medications.
- Adhere to all compounding and safety guidelines.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized compounding area.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Pharmacy Technician License.
- Inpatient IV compounding experience is required.
