IV/Oncology Experienced Travel Pharmacy Technician - Norfolk, VA

We are looking for a pharmacy technician with at least 1 to 2 years of experience in inpatient setting, oncology, and Steller IV making skills. Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties
• Maintain confidential reports, enter, and retrieve data utilizing the computer system
• Prepare intravenous medication, including chemotherapy
• Assists in all aspects of labeling and preparation of medications
• Assists with management of inventory including receiving and storing medication as well as preparation and delivery of narcotics
• Data collection related to medication center review and quality improvement
• Assists in monitoring and management of emergency carts
• Fill automated medication dispensing system with a supply of unit dose medications, procure
• Fill requests for pharmaceutical supplies and deliver supplies to nursing units

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years Inpatient experience with IV mixing and oncology
• VA license to practice
• PTCB (preffered)
• FT Availability

M-F possible rotating Saturdays
