Travel Histology in Goose Creek, SC

A travel opportunity is available for a Histology Technician skilled in laboratory histology processes. This role is based in Goose Creek, South Carolina, and offers a chance to apply expertise in microtomy, special stains, and tissue embedding. Experience with immunohistochemistry (IHC) is beneficial but not required.

Schedule and Duration:

• 13-week assignment
• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microtomy to prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination
• Conduct special staining techniques to highlight tissue components
• Embed tissue specimens consistently and accurately for analysis
• Utilize immunohistochemistry techniques when applicable to enhance diagnostic capability

Desired Experience:

• Strong background in histology, especially microtomy, special stains, and embedding
• Familiarity with immunohistochemistry preferred
• Ability to work independently within early morning shifts
• Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from the Goose Creek area to qualify for this travel assignment
