Travel Histology in North Charleston, SC

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Histology Technician specializing in laboratory histology methods. Responsibilities:

• Perform essential histology laboratory tasks including microtomy, special staining protocols, and tissue embedding
• Utilize immunohistochemistry techniques, enhancing diagnostic accuracy (experience preferred)
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with quality control standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support clinical diagnostics

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Histology Technician or in a similar histology laboratory role
• Competency in microtomy, special stains, and embedding procedures
• Familiarity with immunohistochemistry (IHC) is a plus
• Ability to adhere to strict laboratory protocols and safety guidelines
• Must be willing to travel and work in North Charleston; candidates living 50+ miles away preferred

Schedule:

• 13 weeks assignment
• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shifts, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM
