Travel Medical Laboratory Tech - Arlington, Texas

An opportunity is available for a skilled Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician seeking a travel assignment in the Irving, TX area. This 13-week contract requires strong proficiency in hematology slide reading and certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT), along with ASCP or AMT credentials. The position offers a chance to apply specialized laboratory skills in a fast-paced environment with a schedule that includes overnight shifts.

Schedule:

• Tuesday through Saturday
• 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT)
• ASCP or AMT certification required
• Proficient in hematology slide reading
• Experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician preferred
• Ability to comply with facility requirements, including submission of profile, candidate info sheet, and right to represent documentation

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate hematology slide readings in a high-volume lab setting
• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory testing following established protocols
• Maintain precise documentation and compliance with quality standards
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate test results
