This travel opportunity calls for experienced professionals proficient in hematology slide reading to provide critical laboratory services. The role requires certified Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) or Medical Technologists (MT) with ASCP or AMT credentials to support patient care within a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as an MLS or MT with ASCP or AMT credentials
  • Strong proficiency in hematology slide reading
  • Experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Ability to work the 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM shift, Tuesday through Saturday
  • Open to travel and relocate as needed
  • Cannot currently be employed by or actively working for Quest Diagnostics

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and evaluate hematology tests accurately and efficiently
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely and precise laboratory results
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to quality control procedures
  • Participate in continuous education and training initiatives

Schedule:

  • Tuesday through Saturday
  • Night shift: 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM
