Seeking a skilled Pathologist Assistant to support laboratory pathology operations in Dacula, GA. The ideal candidate will hold ASCP-PA certification and bring expertise in assisting pathologists with laboratory tasks and specimen management. This contract position offers a standard Monday through Friday schedule, providing a well-balanced workweek with no holiday or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pathologists with examination and processing of surgical specimens, autopsies, and biopsies
  • Prepare specimens for analysis, including dissection, fixation, and embedding procedures
  • Document findings and maintain accurate laboratory records
  • Ensure adherence to laboratory safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to support efficient workflow and case management

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • ASCP-PA certification is mandatory
  • Proven experience as a Pathologist Assistant or Laboratory Pathology Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of pathology laboratory procedures and terminology
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the pathology team

Schedule and Location:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No weekend or holiday shifts required
  • Position located in Dacula, Georgia
