Calling on SLPs (Clinical fellows too!) who want to live and work in the area of Lake Sammamish, WA. Soliant is working with a local school district to fill two contract Speech-Language Pathologist positions.

Located around 10 miles from Bellevue, WA, this is a scenic locale with access to tons of hiking and lakefront activities.

We seek applicants with the following core competencies:

  • Solid problem solving skills: be curious, ask questions, and think your way around a problem
  • Flexibility: manage shifting priorities and uncertainties that may arise due to poor communication or lack of information
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Students, staff and parents depend on you to treat, coach and educate them
  • Organization skills: maintain accurate records and create a system for sharing information with others
  • Up-to-date knowledge of speech and language disorders, therapy or activities for school children, and Special Education procedures in a public school setting
  • Details of the position as follows:

  • 1 medical leave position, lasting approx. 20 weeks
  • 1 leave coverage position, lasting 12 weeks
  • This is a long-time partner district; while assignment duration is less than the full school year, the possibility of extension for interested and qualified candidates is high.

    Education and license requirements:

  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
  • Washington license in Speech-Language Pathology (Soliant can provide guidance in the process)
  • Educational Staff Associate credential
