Licensed Counselor position needed in Nevada

Number of hours per week

• 7.5 hours a day with a 30-minute lunch which comes to 35 hours a week

- caseload including disabilities, number of buildings they will service, etc…

• We have two schools with opening
  • Lake schools - is a k-12 school with less than 300 kids, so the caseload would be less than 300 kids
  • Douglas High School - is a 9-12 comprehensive HS, the caseload would be around 400 kids

- Dates of position

• August 15 - June 16

- Licensure and or state requirements for the position 

• Nevada State Teaching License in school counseling

- Is teletherapy an option?

• I don't think this is a good option for a school counselor.  They really need to be on campus to support students.
