Requirements:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Vermont.
- Candidates can be straight out of school but must have an advanced degree in physical therapy.
- In-person candidates only.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Hyde Park, VT. This part-time position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students aged 3-21, providing essential physical therapy services to support their educational and developmental needs. While some students may require full therapy sessions, others may benefit from consultative services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical assessments and evaluations of students to determine their individual needs.
- Develop and implement personalized physical therapy plans for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Provide in-person therapy sessions to students as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Vermont.
- Advanced degree in Physical Therapy.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students and adapt therapy plans as needed.
