Caseload/Details:

  • Caseload:

    • One LSSP will handle the caseload at the high school.

    • Perform professional psychological work, including assessment, behavior management, and counseling.
    • Work with students who have emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems.

Job Description:

We are seeking two dedicated Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSPs) to join our educational team in San Antonio, TX, for the 2023-2024 academic year. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) starting on September 18, 2023, and ending on May 24, 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Caseload Assignment: One LSSP will be responsible for the caseload at the high school, while the other LSSP will work with students at non-traditional campuses and handle overflow cases.

  • Assessment: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students with emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems.

  • Behavior Management: Develop and implement behavior management strategies to support students' emotional and behavioral needs.

  • Counseling: Provide counseling and support to students, individually or in group settings, to address their psychological and emotional well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other educational professionals.
  • Experience in educational settings is preferred.
