Soliant is currently partnering with a school district in Coventry, TX, and we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) for a full-time position from August 2023 through May 2024. This is an onsite role that will involve working across multiple campuses with students in grades K-12.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the school team to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide direct support and counseling services to students to address emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to support students' academic and social-emotional success
  • Collect and analyze data on student progress and outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student cases and make recommendations for interventions and accommodations
  • Provide consultation and guidance to teachers and staff on effective instructional strategies and behavior management techniques
  • Collaborate with community resources and external agencies to support students' needs, as required

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
  • Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably across multiple grade levels
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including experience with administering and interpreting psychological tests
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different school locations

Schedule and Compensation:

This is a full-time position for the duration of the school year, from August 2023 to May 2024. The working hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute "duty-free" lunch break. The position requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
