A local community pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist in charge. This would be a great way for a pharmacist to advance their skill set and continue to build their career in pharmacy. The pharmacist in charge will responsible for controlling and dispensing medication for prescription and non-prescription medicine. Job Scope:
•Compounding and dispensing drugs and medicines prescribed by physicians or other
authorized medical personnel.
•Comply with all local, state and federal rules and regulations regarding the
practice of pharmacy.
•Make substitutions of comparable drugs for drugs with trade names, as appropriate.
•Manufacture pharmaceutical preparations as needed.
•Prepare solutions and sterile compounding.
•Respond to inquiries concerning drug contents, dosages, regimen reviews, storage and disposal.
•Monitor drug therapies for drug interactions, allergies and contraindications.
•Monitor stocks of drugs and chemicals.
•Inventory drugs, medications and supplies as required.
•Maintain supplies and the security of drugs.
•Provide consultations on the use and care of prescription drugs and medicines with
patients.
•Maintain records and prepare reports on all narcotics dispensed.

Requirements:
•Clear and active IA license
•Strong Compounding experience
•Recent Inpatient or Home Infusion experience
•At least 2+ years supervisory experience
•340B experience a plus but not required
