LPN/RN needed NEAR Peachtree City Georgia

Job Opportunity: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: NEAR Peachtree city 

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and medical treatments to students as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess students' health conditions, responding to medical needs promptly.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with special medical needs.
• Provide first aid and emergency care as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for students.
• Support health screenings and immunization programs.
• Educate students, parents, and staff about health-related topics as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and school policies related to healthcare.

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered nurse (RN).
• Prior experience working as an LPN in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with students of all ages.
• Familiarity with relevant state health and safety regulations.
