Middle and High School Math Teacher Openings Near Aston, PA

Soliant is pleased to announce two exceptional opportunities for passionate Middle and High School Math Teachers to join a reputable school district near Aston, Pennsylvania. These are full-time positions, each with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. The positions are available for an immediate start and will continue through June 14, 2024. Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates mastery of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for the course(s) taught.
• Develops comprehensive lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards, driving instruction through formative assessment and differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
• Utilizes strong classroom and behavioral management skills to maintain an effective learning atmosphere.
• Actively participates in the educational team, collaborating with colleagues and other professionals to enhance the learning experience.
• Monitors and assesses student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• Incorporates technology and innovative teaching techniques to enhance instruction.
• Ensures compliance with all required Pennsylvania clearances and certifications.
• Promotes a safe and supportive learning environment, particularly in an urban setting.
• Provides a high-quality educational experience that prepares students for success in math.

Qualifications:

• Pennsylvania teaching certification or eligibility for an emergency teaching permit with a bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly in middle or high school.
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills.
• Dedication to creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective lesson plans and align instruction with standards.
• Availability to start immediately and commit to the position through June 14, 2024.
