Middle School Science Teacher

Soliant is looking for a certified middle school Science teacher with a Bachelor's degree to work at a school in Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Description:

• Dates: ASAP - 5/29/24
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
  - Teachers can leave early if they don't have a meeting
• Caseload: 7th/8th Grade (around 19 students)
• Requirements:
  - Teaching certificate
• Preference: Would like someone with a diverse background since the school population is 88% African American

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
•    Current teaching certification in the relevant state.
•    Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to create an inclusive and adaptive learning environment.
