Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team near Minneapolis, MN for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with special needs and the skills necessary to provide effective instruction and support.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs.
• Provide instruction and support to students with disabilities in various settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided and student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school team meetings.

Qualifications:

• Valid Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education license in Minnesota.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
