We are excited to announce that we are hiring for 10 Special Education Teacher positions in the Sycamore, IL area. These full-time roles are available for the 2023-2024 school year and offer the opportunity to make a significant impact in self-contained classrooms across various grade levels.

Job Details:

• Number of Positions: 10
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5-40 hours per week
• Start Date: August 14, 2023
• Work Location: Onsite only
• Classroom Setting: Self-contained classrooms
• Grade Levels: Elementary through High School

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and support students with diverse learning needs within self-contained classrooms.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to provide a comprehensive educational experience.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Valid Illinois teaching license in Special Education.
• Experience in self-contained classrooms and working with students with diverse needs is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
