Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students K-12 with speech, language, and communication needs. The SLP will work with students to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans to improve communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy and collaborate with teachers and staff.
- Document progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License or Credential.
- Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a school setting.
- Familiarity with IEP process and special education services.
Additional Requirements:
- Background check and fingerprinting clearance.
- TB Test Clearance.
