Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Trenton, MO. This full-time position is ideal for individuals passionate about helping students succeed in their communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights regarding speech and language goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Missouri SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs will be considered.
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
