Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Paraeducators to join our team. As a Paraeducator, you will support students in K-12 classrooms by assisting with instructional activities, promoting student engagement, and providing essential support to students with special needs. This role is critical to ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent

   • A high school diploma or GED is required.

2. Educational Requirements (One of the following):

   • Completion of the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) or Paraeducator Proficiency Test
   • An Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited institution
   • 48 college semester units (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering instruction and educational activities.
• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Support students with special needs, including those with disabilities, behavioral challenges, and English language learners.

1. Clearances and Certifications:

   • Fingerprint clearance from the California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
   • Current TB test clearance (within the last 60 days).
   • CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
