Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Southgate, MI. As an SLP, you will play a key role in helping high school students with speech, language, and communication disorders succeed academically and socially. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working in a collaborative educational setting, providing individualized therapy, and making a lasting impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in high school students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions as needed.
  • Document and monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and case reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Michigan State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. CFY candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience working with adolescent populations is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
