Calling on Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) based in the area of Newark, DE, who want to bring their expertise to education-based behavioral intervention! Soliant is working with a moderately sized school district, and is seeking a contract BCBA to finish out the school year with K-5 students!

Description of duties:

  • Support school staff in identifying behavioral challenges.
  • Provide training or make recommendations on how to manage and diffuse behavioral challenges
  • Promote positive student behavior by implementing Positive Behavior Intervention and Support through the use of evidenced-based practices
  • Utilize observation and data collection methods in support of Behavior Analysis
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Attend IEP, eligibility, or other meetings as necessary and provide related behavioral information.
  • Engage parents in the process of introduce appropriate behavior interventions
  • Monitor student progress and evaluate efficacy of treatment
  • Maintain a range of written materials (such as reports, treatment logs) for the purposes of documentation

Details of assignment:

  • 37.5 hours a week (guaranteed hours for days when school is in session)
  • Work with K-5 students
  • Start: within 2-3 weeks of job offer (negotiable for candidates who are relocating)
  • End: end of school year
  • W2 assignment
  • Billing structure of a flat, hourly rate

Requirements:

  • Active BCBA license
    • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
    • Completion of a national examination for the purposes of the BCBA license
