Night Shift Pharmacist – Hospital Opportunity in El Monte, CA
We are seeking a Night Shift Pharmacist to join a 400-bed hospital in the El Monte area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospital pharmacist to work in a high-acuity setting with a large ICU patient population while utilizing Cerner EMR.
Position Details
- Role: Night Shift Pharmacist
- Location: El Monte, California
- Compensation: Starting at seventy-five dollars per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience
- Schedule: Overnight shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
Requirements
- Active California Pharmacist License
- PGY1 residency training or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong clinical skills, especially in ICU patient management
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities
- Order verification and medication management
- Pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Consulting with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
