A reputable educational institution in Annapolis, MD is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist for a full-time position during the 2023-2024 school year. - Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and support to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Support the school's Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program and crisis intervention efforts.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Attend team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably with diverse student populations.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in special education and student support services.
- Proficient in conducting assessments, interpreting results, and developing data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development.
