Soliant is currently seeking an BCBA for the 2023-2024 school year.
As a Contracted BCBA, you will work closely with our team of dedicated professionals to provide comprehensive behavior analysis services and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students with special needs. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our students and help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This position offers the flexibility of a contract role, allowing you to apply your skills and knowledge while maintaining a manageable work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and functional behavior assessments to gather data and identify behavior needs and goals.
  • Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the needs and goals of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement behavior intervention strategies effectively.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques and interventions.
  • Monitor and analyze student progress using data collection methods and adjust intervention plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of behavior assessments, progress reports, and other relevant records.
  • Attend meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions to stay updated on the latest research and best practices in behavior analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making and intervention strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations in Texas is desirable.
  • Must be reliable, organized, and self-motivated.

 

Note: This is a contracted position for the 23/24 school year, with the potential for extension based on performance and availability.
