Exciting Opportunity for Ed Techs in Hallowell, ME!

Position Details:

• Role: Educational Technician II or III
• Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week (bus riding may be available for additional hours)
• Caseloads Available:
  • K-2 Behavior Classroom
  • 3-6 Behavior Classroom
  • PreK Classroom

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct academic and behavioral support to students in assigned classrooms.
• Assist with individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to meet students' needs.
• Engage in professional development to support best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education Requirements:
  • Level 2 Paras: Minimum of 60 college credits required.
  • Level 3 Paras: Minimum of 90 college credits required.
• Certification:
  • Must hold an Ed Tech II or III certification through Maine DOE or be willing to obtain it after hire.
  • Candidates can start with a pending certification if proof of application is provided.
