We are interviewing for Special Education Teachers for the upcoming School Year. Please see details below:

• FT / Full School Year - 22/23
• The duties commonly associated with the position include but are not limited to:
  • maintaining up-to-date knowledge of curriculum content
  • planning and assessment of instruction and curriculum
  • maintaining classroom management
  • planning and delivering effective instruction
  • promoting high standards and expectations for student achievement
  • communicating with students, parents, and other district employees to work on behalf of students
  • promoting equity and appreciation of diversity

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred MA DESE Certification in Moderate Disabilities 5-12 Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
• Excellent classroom management skills; ability to work as a team; willing to be trained in de-escalation and restraint techniques provided by the district Ability to use data to plan for, assess, and modify instruction
