Schools in California are looking for a highly skilled paraprofessionals to join their team of educators.

Responsibilities: responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Behavior support with behavior plans
• Toileting
• Assisting lead teacher with daily classroom needs
• Collaboration between general and special education teachers
• Preparing classroom materials, collecting and (or) grading papers
• Assisting with individual learning and health needs of students

Job Details:

• Hours: Full time
• Contract length: ASAP – May 26, 2013
• Caseload Information: K – 12th

Requirements:

• Education -One or more of the following
  • Completed at least 2 years of study at an accredited institution
  • Completed Associates Degree (or higher) at an accredited institution
• Experience
  • Previous experience working with students with significant needs
  • ABA experience strongly suggested, comfortable with toileting/severe behaviors of all ages.
