We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year in Little Rock, AR. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in supporting Preschool students in developing their communication skills and reaching their full potential. This is a full-time contract assignment with a duration from August 10, 2023, to May 30, 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in Preschool students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies based on assessment results and IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, targeting speech and language goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative and coordinated approach to student support
  • Monitor student progress, collect data, and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and outcomes
  • Conduct periodic evaluations to determine the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities as required

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
  • Valid state licensure in Speech Language Pathology in Arkansas
  • Experience working with Preschool students is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention techniques for speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel between 3 different locations within the district
