Job Post: Full-time Licensed Counselor Role in Blue Island, IL

We are partnering with a school district in Blue Island, IL to fill a full-time School Counselor role for the 2023-2024 school year. This position will work with a caseload spanning from kindergarten to 5th grade.

Position: Full-time School Counselor
Location: Blue Island, IL
Caseload: Kindergarten-5th grade

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling services to students, addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Conduct assessments and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
• Implement evidence-based counseling techniques and strategies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of counseling sessions

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Illinois license as a Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Experience working with students in a school setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
