Job Description:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with Soliant Health, you will play a critical role in performing nuclear medicine procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. Your proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care will be vital in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine scans as prescribed by physicians.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and prepare patients for scans.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during the imaging process.
• Monitor and maintain nuclear medicine equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection measures.

Requirements:

• Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure in California.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
