A skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician opportunity is available in Arvada, CO, offering a contract position focused on perioperative care within a specialized surgical unit. This role supports a 23-OR facility known for elective surgical cases including Orthopedics, Spine, Cardiovascular, General, Plastic, Gynecological, Robotic, and Urological procedures. The position is primarily day shift, with hours generally from early morning to early evening.
Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures, handling specialized OR equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and collaborating closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency. This environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, centered on elective surgeries without trauma cases, promoting consistency and focus on quality care.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR or related nursing experience required.
- Preferred experience includes Orthopedics, Spine, and Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and maintain outstanding teamwork and communication.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR and modern OR technology is advantageous.
