Certified Surgical Tech | Garland, Texas

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled CVOR Tech with specialized experience in open heart, vascular, and endovascular procedures. The position requires proven expertise and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will be an essential member of the cardiovascular operating room team at a large medical center known for advanced surgical technology and trauma care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular operating room procedures, including open heart, endovascular, and vascular surgeries.
• Prepare, maintain, and operate advanced surgical equipment, such as the Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical Systems.
• Work across multiple ORs including cardiothoracic, endovascular, trauma, and neurosurgical suites.
• Ensure compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols in a Level 1 Trauma center.
• Provide support for an average caseload of 30-40 surgeries daily.
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, including recent experience (within last 6 months) in open heart, vascular, and endovascular cases.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Current CST certification.
• Previous work experience in a Level 1 Trauma operating room environment.
• Ability to handle advanced surgical technology and multiple OR suites efficiently.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
